Budget 2025 fulfills dreams of every Indian: PM Modi

Srinagar Feb 01: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that the Union Budget 2025 would fulfill the dreams of every Indian as the government in its budget has opened many sectors for the youth.

"The common citizen is going to drive the mission of a developed India as this budget is a force multiplier and it will increase savings, investment, consumption and growth," PM Modi in his video message said and congratulated Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and her team on this budget.

"Generally, the focus of the budget remains on how to fill the treasury of the government. But this budget is the opposite of that," he said.

He said the budget focuses on how it will fill the pockets of the citizens of the country and how will it increase the savings of the citizens besides taking measures of making citizens of the country partners in development.

"This budget has a very strong foundation. Important steps have been taken in the direction of reform in this budget. The decision to increase the private sector in nuclear energy is very historic," PM Modi said.

He said this budget will play a major role in the development of the country in the future.

"All sectors of employment have been given priority in the budget. But I would like to focus on two things," he said.

He said the budget will benefit our middle class and in the same way, those who have come into new professions will have freedom from income tax which will be a great opportunity for them.

In this budget, there is a 360 degree focus on manufacturing. So that entrepreneurs, MSMEs, small entrepreneurs get strength and new jobs are created. From national manufacturing missions to leather, footwear, toy industry, many sectors have been given special support," he said.

He said the goal of the budget is that Indian products should shine in the global market.

"There should be a vibrant competitive environment for investment in states. A special focus has been given on this in the budget," he said.
