Mirwaiz meets Shahi Imam, Mufti Mukarram in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 3: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Monday visited Jama Masjid Delhi and Fatehpuri Masjid, and met Shahi Imam Syed Ahmad Bukhari and later Mufti Mukarram Ahmed, Imam and Khateeb of Fatehpuri Masjid.
As per the official handout, both leaders warmly welcomed the Mirwaiz, and their discussions focused on Muslim unity and the role of leadership in addressing community challenges.
Mirwaiz also apprised them of the situation in Kashmir.
Both leaders appreciated the efforts of Mirwaiz in promoting peace and dialogue.
