Srinagar Feb 03: The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister on Monday said that announcement regarding Union Budget-2025 depicts the intention of the Government of India and they will wait for its implementation.
Talking to media persons, Omar Abdullah said income tax relief is a good thing andsome other things announced in the budget have the potential to benefit particularly the middle class.
"But everything depends on the implementation. It is one thing to have the intention. Let us wait for the implementation," he said.
Omar Abdullah said that if the middle class benefits in the implementation part and if there is more money in people's pockets that will benefit the economy.
"Because ultimately spending will go up and once spending goes up economy will be up, that is what we want to see," CM Omar Abdullah said.
On Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress fielding candidates for Delhi elections, Omar Abdullah said both AAP and Congress need to sit down and discuss what their strategy will be in the future. "Because if we fall apart like this, it is not good for the country. After all, we came together to stop the BJP. Even though we didn't succeed, but if you look at the parliament, the opposition has increased to a great extent," Omar Abdullah said.
He said it was not good to see INDI alliance falling apart.
"Once the elections are over, we will have a meeting and then we will be able to talk about it openly," he said.
