MLA Gulmarg pats officers for restoration of essential services

Baramulla, March 01: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah on Saturday showered praises for the officers for their efforts to restore essential services in the constituency post snowfall.

In a post on social media, MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah said that 30 out of 31 feeders of electricity were restored while nine others were partially operational as well.

"28 out of 31 water supply schemes  are fully functional and only three are partially affected. The restoration work is going on," he said.

On restoration of road connectivity, MLA Gulmarg said that 410 km out of 476 km were cleared on Friday to ensure smooth movement of vehicles.

He extended gratitude to all the concerned officers including SDM Gulmarg and the hardworking officers of Mechanical Division (R&B) Tangmarg, PMGSY, PHE (FBI Division) Tangmarg, and PDD Special Sub Division (STD and Maintenance) Tangmarg, for their "remarkable efforts in restoring essential services under challenging conditions."

"Your commitment and tireless service have brought much-needed relief to the people of our constituency. I deeply appreciate your dedication and stand with you in our collective efforts for public welfare," MLA Gulmarg wrote on his official facebook page.
