JK Assembly witnesses noisy scenes over NC MLA's remarks on Pak

Srinagar March 4: J&K Legislative Assembly on Tuesday witnessed  noisy scenes over remarks made by NC MLA Mir Saifullah regarding PoK.

Speaking during the question hour, NC MLA from Trehgam praised Pakistan stating that the villages across have better border facilities than India.

He made these remarks with reference to facilities in border areas including Keran, Machill of Kashmir, during winter months.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) however sought expunging of remarks that facilities in the areas of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) were better.

BJP legislator RS Pathania stood up and demanded that these remarks be expunged from the records of the Assembly.
