Rs 3407 crore in Kashmir, Rs 7108 crore in Jammu
Jammu, Mar 10: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday informed the Legislative Assembly that an investment of Rs 10516 crore was made in the Union Territory since 2019.
In a written reply to a question raised by MLA Budhal Javed Iqbal, the minister in-charge Industries and Commerce Surinder Choudhary informed the House that said that an investment of Rs 3407.63 crore and Rs 7108 crore was made in Jammu and Kashmir divisions respectively.
The government informed that an investment of Rs 164.37 crore has been made in Kashmir in 2019-20, Rs 148.89 crore in 2020-21, Rs 125.87 crore in 2021-22, Rs 737.36 crore in 2022-23 and Rs 1423. 17 crore in 2024- 25 upto February 25, 2025,
In Jammu, an investment of Rs 132.27 crore has been made in 2019-20, Rs 263.85 crore in 2020-21, Rs 250.89 crore, Rs 1416.07 crore in 2022-23, Rs 1966.20 in 2023-24 and Rs 3079.57 crore in 2024-25. (KNO)
