Srinagar, Mar 11: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday informed the Legislative Assembly that 194 road and bridge projects were sanctioned for the Union Territory at an estimated cost of Rs 1022.63 crores.
In a reply to a question raised by MLA Dr Sajad Shafi, the minister in-charge, informed the House that among 194 projects, the has approved 10 infrastructure projects worth Rs 50.43 crore under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF-XXIX) for Baramulla district in the past two years.
"For Uri constituency, two road projects have been sanctioned under RIDF-XXIX with an estimated cost of Rs 6.45 crore," the minister in his reply informed the House.(KNO)
