Baramulla, March 13: In a continued effort to support education and community development, Rouble Nagi, renowned social activist and founder of the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation (RNAF) Thursday donated 100 benches and 10 computers to Guru Nanak Dev Model High School (GNDMHS), Baramulla.
This initiative aims to enhance the school’s infrastructure, providing students with a more comfortable and technology-enabled learning environment.
The distribution ceremony was attended by school authorities, students, and members of the local community.
The donation was warmly received, with the new benches improving classroom conditions and the computers expanding digital learning opportunities for students.
Addressing the gathering, Rouble Nagi emphasized RNAF’s commitment to education, art, and social welfare. She stated, “Education is the cornerstone of a progressive society. By providing these resources, we hope to create a more comfortable and inspiring learning environment. This is a small gift to these wonderful children, who represent the future of our nation," Nagi said.
This contribution follows RNAF’s previous support in 2024, when the foundation donated 200 benches to government Higher Secondary School (HSS) Chatoosa, Rafiabad, and government Girls HSS, Rainawari, Srinagar.
These ongoing efforts reaffirm the foundation’s dedication to empowering young learners across the region.
Expressing gratitude, the Principal of Guru Nanak Dev Model High School said the generous donation from Rouble Nagi will greatly enhance our students’ learning experience, allowing them to focus better on their studies.
"We deeply appreciate her unwavering support," she said.
The Rouble Nagi Art Foundation remains committed to philanthropic initiatives across India, with a strong focus on education, skill development, and community upliftment.
This latest contribution is another step in its mission to support underprivileged communities and promote educational development in Kashmir.
