Baramulla Police file charge sheet in 10 year old case

Baramulla March 27: In a significant development,  Police Station Boniyar has filed a charge sheet in a 10-year old case registered under FIR No. 03/2016 under section 420 RPC in court.

The move has marking the culmination of a decade-long legal pursuit.

"This breakthrough was achieved due to the relentless efforts of a dedicated police team deputed to Jharkhand, who worked tirelessly to apprehend the accused," a Police handout reads.

It reads that the accused Manoj Das was a resident of Deoghar, Jharkhand and was involved in an online bank fraud case amounting to ₹90,000 in 2016.

"The team ensured his production before the court, demonstrating exceptional dedication and commitment to duty," the handout reads.

Baramulla Police, as per the handout, has appreciated the outstanding efforts of the team involved in this operation.

"We remain committed to upholding the rule of law and ensuring that offenders are brought to justice, no matter how long it takes," the handout reads.
