DSEK orders change in school timing across Kashmir from April 1

Srinagar March 29: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Saturday ordered the change in timing for schools across Kashmir from April 1 of this year.
As per the order, the timing for schools falling under Municipal limits of Srinagar district has been fixed from 9am to 3pm.
The order reads that the timing for schools falling outside municipal limits of Srinagar, other districts and areas of Kashmir province will remain from 9:30am to 3:30pm.
As per the order the new timing will come into effect from April 01 of 2025.
"The instructions must be adhered to strictly by all the concerned schools. Any deviation in this regard shall be viewed seriously," the order reads.
