Srinagar April 02: A high level delegation of JK Employees Coordination Committee (JKECC ) led by its president and chairman JK Teachers Association Shah Fayaz on Wednesday met minister for education, Medical Education and Social Welfare Sakeena Masood Itoo and presented a memorandum comprising demands related to the issues of employees of different departments for early redressal.
The other members who were part of the delegation were Hatim Qayoom General Secretary JKECC/JKTA, Syeed Hina UT President AAYA Association and other leaders .
The delegation apprised the minister of some chronic issues confronting employees fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir for long and urged for early redressal.
The delegation was received with honour and patient hearing was given to the delegation with utmost care and was assured a sympathetic and favourable consideration of all issues highlighted in the meeting at the highest level.
The delegation started its deliberation with the issue of Teachers, RReTs, Contingent paid employees, AAYAs, Vocational Trainers, Class 4th employees, NRHM employees, Anganwari workers and helpers, MDM cooks, KGBV Contractual employees and other categories of temporary employees and implementation of Minimum wages Act(MWA) in their favour.
The minister responded with a positive attitude to all the issues and assured the delegation that the issue is under consideration at the highest level.
She also said that whatever is possible in this regard, will be done.
The delegation highlighted the miserable condition AAYAs and the delegation was assured that no AAYA will be disengaged and a continuation order will be issued soon.
The General Secretary JKECC while paying a vote of thanks paid sincere gratitude to the education minister for giving patient hearing to all the concerns and expressed hope that demands put forth by the delegation would be addressed in due course of time.
Later President JKECC Shah Fayaz flanked by General Secretary Hatim Qayoom Called on IGP Kashmir range Vidhi Kumar Birdi and discussed many issues of employees and apprised the worthy IGP Kashmir that JKECC has initiated many society related programmes in collaboration with civil administration and now planing to continue these programmes with Jammu Kashmir Police as well.
