Classwork in Colleges across JK suspended till September 6

Srinagar Sept 4:  The classwork in Government Degree Colleges across Jammu and Kashmir was also suspended till September 6, 2025.

The order was issued by Director Colleges J&K in view of the prevailing precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of students across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

"It is hereby ordered that the class work in all Government Degree Colleges/GCETs in the UT of J&K shall remain suspended till  September 6, 2025," it reads.

As per the order, the classwork shall resume on 08th September, 2025 (Monday).

A copy of the order has been sent to the Principals of Government Degree Colleges/GCETs, J&K for information and necessary action. "They shall also ensure that all necessary safety measures in the 

campus are checked and complied with during the suspension period so that classwork can safely resume from September 8, 2025 (Monday)," the order reads.
