LG Manoj Sinha visits flood-hit families in Jammu, assures full support

Jammu, Sep 9: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday visited Rajeev Colony in Jammu to meet families affected by the recent floods, assuring them of full government support and timely relief.

During his visit, LG Sinha interacted with the residents, listened to their concerns, and directed officials to ensure immediate relief measures. He also emphasized that long-term rehabilitation efforts would be taken up to help the affected families rebuild their lives.

Officials accompanying the LG said necessary steps are being initiated to provide financial assistance, restore basic infrastructure, and address the pressing needs of those displaced by the floods.

Sinha reiterated the government’s commitment to stand firmly with the people during this time of crisis and ensure that no affected family is left unattended. (KNC)
