Shah Fayaz extends warm welcome, thanks LG administration, CM for resolving long pending issue of RMSA teachers

Srinagar, Sept 23: In a significant development, the RMSA Teachers Association formally announced its amalgamation with the Jammu & Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee (JKECC) at Srinagar, expanding the wide canvas of JKECC all the more.
The historic occasion was marked by a warm reception extended by Shah Fayaz, President JKECC and Chairman JKTA along with other leaders of JKECC, who welcomed the leadership of RMSA Teachers Association led by Mehraj-ud-Din, President RMSA Teachers Association, and other office bearers.
Notably JKECC is the largest trade union in JKUT with about 40 Employees Associations under its grand ambit.
The leadership of RMSA Teachers Association expressed deep gratitude to JKECC for its unwavering support and tireless efforts in getting their long-pending and legitimate demands addressed.
They reiterated their unflinching faith and allegiance to JKECC, terming the amalgamation as a step towards strengthening collective representation of the teaching fraternity in Jammu and Kashmir for a broader platform for raising their issues and concerns.
Speaking on the occasion, Shah Fayaz reaffirmed his unwavering resolve to represent the employees of JKUT with sincerity, courage, and consistency at all fora and at every level of governance.
He extended heartfelt thanks to the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, minister for education Sakina Itoo, Director School Education Kashmir, Director School Education Jammu, Director Samagra Shiksha for their pivotal and proactive role in resolving the major issues of RMSA Teachers.
Expressing optimism, Shah Fayaz expressed hope that the remaining grievances of RMSA teachers being also amicably addressed in due course of time. He stressed that the amalgamation symbolizes a renewed era of unity, solidarity, and purposeful struggle under the banner of JKECC for safeguarding the rights and welfare of employees across the Union Territory.
Shah Fayaz was accompanied by Provincial President Farooq Lolabi and other prominent leaders of JKECC and JKTA on the occasion of the landmark development.
