Srinagar, Oct 5: General Secretary JK Employees Joint Coordination Committee (JKECC) Hatim Qayoom Sunday presented a momento to the renowned broadcaster Hussain Zafar during the release of a book titled Shareefu Ka Mohalla authored by Zaffar Hussain.

The function was held at Tagore Hall, Srinagar.

During the event, Hatim Qayoom, along with Atthar Hussain Reshi, President of Fisheries, presented a memento to Hussain Zafar as a token of appreciation and respect.

The event was graced by some of the valley’s most prominent personalities including Abdul Qayoom Wani (renowned trade union leader), MLA Kulgam Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, MLA Bijbehara Bashir Ahmad Veeri, MLA Gurez Nazir Gurazi, CEO Kokernag Development Authority Rouf-ul-Rehman, former Trade union leader Rafiq Ahmad Rather and several other distinguished social workers and intellectuals.

The role of Hatim Qayoom, General Secretary JKECC and JKTA, was highly appreciated by all the dignitaries and functionaries present at the occasion.

Hatim Qayoom expressed that it was indeed his privilege and honour for being part of the occasion and sharing moments with Mohammad Hussain Zafar whose contributions to broadcasting and literature remain truly inspirational.
