MLA Gulmarg Visits Drung to Inspect Water Reservoir Project

Gulmarg, Jan 20: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Gulmarg constituency Farooq Ahmad Shah on Monday visited Drung to inspect the proposed Impounding Reservoir project.

This project aims to solve the long-standing issue of water scarcity during harsh winters in the Gulmarg constituency.

He was accompanied by senior officials, including the Executive Engineer and Assistant Executive Engineer of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department, Tehsildar Tangmarg/ Kunzer and other officials from various departments.

The project promises a sustainable solution to the constituency's water problems.

During the visit, Farooq Ahmad Shah stressed the need to speed up the work and ensure its timely completion to benefit the local residents.

Later, MLA Gulmarg held a public meeting in Tangmarg, where he listened to the concerns of locals and assured them of quick action.

He reaffirmed his commitment to improving basic services and infrastructure for the people of Gulmarg.
