Dec 9: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa Tuesday chaired a
review meeting regarding the ongoing projects under Award Money and Corporate
Social Responsibility (CSR) at the Meeting Hall of the DC Office, Baramulla.
During the meeting, the DC took a comprehensive review of the
physical and financial progress of the works being executed during the
financial year 2025-26.
The DC directed the concerned officers to complete all the
pending works of previous award-related projects in the Agriculture and allied
sectors in the current month without fail.
Meanwhile, the DC instructed the concerned department heads
to submit the Utilization Certificates (UCs) for all completed and ongoing
projects immediately.
Furthermore, Minga Sherpa directed SICOP to submit geo-tagged
photographs of all 20 construction sites, along with the latest status of
execution and progress reports, for proper documentation and verification.
The chair emphasized strict adherence to timelines,
transparency in execution, and accountability at all levels to ensure effective
utilization of public funds.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer,
Principal Government Medical College Baramulla, Medical Superintendent
Associated Hospital GMC and other officers.
In a separate meeting, DC Baramulla chaired a review meeting
to assess the physical and financial progress of various ongoing projects under
the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) programme at
the meeting hall at DC office Baramulla.
At the outset, the DC took a comprehensive project-wise review
of the ongoing works and sought updates on the current status, achievements,
and timelines.
The DC instructed officers to maintain strict adherence to
the approved deadlines and ensure that all ongoing projects are executed with
high standards of quality and transparency.
Furthermore, Minga Sherpa emphasized the importance of proper
financial management and utilization of funds, directing departments to ensure
that expenditure remains aligned with physical progress on ground.
Stressing the importance of SASCI in strengthening infrastructure and improving public service delivery across the district, the DC reiterated that the timely completion of these projects would significantly benefit citizens at the grassroots level.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Nisar
Ahmad; Assistant Commissioner Development, Chaudhary Mudasir Hussain and other
senior officers from various departments.
