SSP Baramulla chairs public interaction at Bijhama, Uri

Baramulla, Jan 23: Baramulla Police led by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gurinderpal Singh hosted a public interaction at Community Hall Bijhama, Uri.

As per the official handout, the event was attended by SDPO Uri Shoket Al, SHO Police Station Bijhama Inspector Irshad Ahmad, and other officers.

"Community leaders, social activists, religious heads, traders, and residents from Bijhama and nearby areas participated in the event," it reads.

During the public interaction, the grievances raised by attendees were addressed wherein the issues pertaining to Police were prioritised.

"The SSP assured the public that the issues related to civil administration will be referred to the concerned departments," the handout reads.

In his address at the occasion, SSP Baramulla emphasized enhancing grassroots policing to strengthen public trust.

He urged collective efforts to combat drug abuse and social evils and called for a mission-driven approach to community service.
