Full dress rehearsal for R-Day 2025 held at DPL Baramulla

Baramulla, Jan 24: The full dress rehearsal for the 76th Republic Day celebrations was held at the District Police Lines (DPL) Baramulla.

The proceedings were held under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Raina.

As part of the rehearsal, Dr. Raina unfurled the National Flag and inspected the parade. He also took the salute at the march past by contingents of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), National Cadet Corps (NCC), students, and other groups.

The rehearsal featured vibrant cultural performances by students and local artists, showcasing the region's rich heritage and patriotic spirit.

The event was attended by senior officials, police personnel, and other stakeholders.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Raina emphasized the importance of the Republic Day celebrations.

He urged all stakeholders to ensure the successful conduct of the main event.

He commended the participants for their enthusiasm and discipline, which reflected their dedication to honoring this significant day.

All necessary arrangements, including security, seating, and transport, have been finalized to ensure a smooth celebration on January 26.
