Woman dies in Wanpoh road accident

Srinagar, Jan 30: An elderly woman died on spot after she was hit by a truck near Wanpoh crossing in south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Thursday.
An official said the women pedestrian died after a truck bearing registration number JK03H-8772 hit her.
"Soon after the incident the injured women was taken to GMC Anantnag for treatment where she was declared brought dead," the official said.
The official identified the deceased as Mubeena Banoo Wife of Mohammad Shafi Malik of Danter Anantnag.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated investigations as well.
