Seek return of shawls, revise weather commentary: Sajad Lone suggests J&K CM

Says people voted for a deliverer not a delivery boy

Srinagar Feb 01: The Jammu and Kashmir People Conference (JKPC)

Sajad Lone on Saturday took a jibe at J&K Omar Abdullah suggesting him to seek return of shawls and revise weather commentary.

The sarcastic remarks came hours after Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented 2025 union Budget in the parliament.

Sajad Lone while reacting to the proposed budget allocation to J&K in the Union Budget said it was  approximately 41000 crores.

"It is approximately 1000 crore less than the previous allocation. When adjusted for inflation it is reduced by another 2 to 3000 crores," Sajad Lone wrote in a post on his official X handle.

"I think it is time CM sahib asks for the return of those shawls, which he so slavishly gifted and wrapped around the shoulders of top echelons of BJP," he wrote.

He said "CM sahib should also revise the cloudless weather commentary that he made in Sonmarg."

He further said that duties of CM were beyond skiing and selfies.

"On a serious note dear CM sahib, Chief Ministerial duties go much beyond skiing and selfies. It is a serious and a pious business. Do what it takes to deliver. People have voted for a deliverer not a delivery boy," Sajad Lone said.
