Leh, Feb 10: A class 10th student Rigzen Angmo from PM Shri Government High School Chumathang Leh Ladakh interacted with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on during the 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2025, held at Sunder Nursery in New Delhi on Monday.
Rigzen hails from Chumathang, a remote village in Leh district. She represented Ladakh at the PPC 2025 event, where PM Modi engaged with students from across the country in an informal and interactive discussion about education, examinations, and mental well being.
This year’s 8th edition of PPC saw an overwhelming participation of students from diverse backgrounds, including those from far flung areas like Ladakh, Northeast, and the tribal regions.
During the session, Rigzen Angmo had the opportunity to ask a question to the Prime Minister, leading to a discussion on overcoming academic pressure and maintaining focus on studies despite challenges.
PM Modi listened to her concerns and provided guidance, emphasizing the importance of self confidence, time management, and a stress free approach to learning.
Notably, PM Modi during his lively and insightful discussion with students during the eighth edition of PPC advised students not to perceive examinations as the ultimate test of life but rather as a part of their journey.
The annual event aimed at easing exam-related stress and
promoting a balanced approach to learning saw enthusiastic participation from
students, teachers, and parents across the country.
PM Modi asked the students that knowledge and exams were two
different things noting that the marks do not define you (Students).
PM Modi urged students to challenge themselves without succumbing to pressure.
He said that parents should avoid using their children as models to showcase achievements and instead provide them with unwavering support.
