New Delhi, Feb 11: As many as 17 Sri Lankan educational administrators, from Ministry of Education, Government of Sri Lanka on Monday arrived at National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) New Delhi to have an overview of digital initiatives.
The NCERT in a post on its official X handle said the group received an overview of various digital initiatives, such as PM eVIDYA 200 DTH TV Channels, an initiative featuring regular telecasts of educational video programs, DIKSHA, NISHTHA, PRASHAST and a demonstration of Rashtriya Vidya Samiksha Kendra (RVSK).
"Discussions regarding National Curriculum Framework Foundational Stage and School Education, Teacher capacity building for foundational learning (NISHTHA, DIKSHA, PM-e Vidya), Learning teaching materials developed for foundational stage - Balvatika guidelines, Vidya Pravesh, Jaadui Pitara, textbooks for early grades, PARAKH; Large scale assessment - Grades 3, 6 & 9 took place," the NCERT post reads.
The group also toured the Vidya Samiksha Kendra, Experiential Learning Centre, Virtual Lab, audio-video studios and HP/VR laboratory.
