Srinagar, Feb 11: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that nations were coming together to shape the future of AI by collaborating to ensure innovation is inclusive and transformative.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Paris on Monday to attend an AI summit said "We will keep working to make AI a force for progress and prosperity."

Taking to his microbloggig website X, PM Modi said that the AI Action Summit in Paris is a commendable effort to bring together world leaders, policy makers, thinkers, innovators and youngsters to have meaningful conversations around AI.

"Had a very productive meeting with the President of Estonia, Mr. Alar Karis on the sidelines of the AI Action Summit in Paris," he wrote on X.

He shared that India’s ties with Estonia are growing remarkably over the years.

"We discussed ways to boost ties in areas like trade, technology, culture and more," PM Modi wrote on X.

Earlier in his address at AI summit, PM Modi said AI was already re-shaping our polity, our economy, our security and even our society. "AI is writing the code for humanity in this century. But, it is very different from other technology milestones in human history," he said.

PM Modi said AI wass developing at an unprecedented scale and speed.

"And being adopted and deployed even faster, there is also a deep inter-dependence across borders. Therefore, there is a need for collective global efforts to establish governance and standards, that uphold our shared values, address risks, and build trust," PM Modi said.
