Seriously watching the issue: Sakina Itoo, says future of 22 students will be secured

Srinagar Feb 15: Amid the delay tactics by JK Board of School Education (JKBOSE) in issuing the roll number slips to 22 students of a private school in Srinagar, the education minister Sakina Itoo Saturday evening said that the future of students will be secured.

Taking to X, the education minister said that she was closely and seriously watching the issue from the last three days.

"I am closely and  seriously watching the issue for the last 3 days, the future of the 22 students of class 10th shall be secured," she wrote on X.

She further said that action against those who have played with the future of these students shall be taken.

"Will ensure that these students are allowed to appear in the exams," her post on X reads.

As already reported, the JKBOSE  denied class 10th exam registration forms to the 22 students of The Islamic Global School Padshahibagh Srinagar, despite the government instructions.

Earlier, the instructions to tag the students of the concerned private school with the nearby Government Boys Higher Secondary School Natipora was issued by the then director education Kashmir Tasaduq Hussain Mir. The decision was conveyed to chairman and secretary JKBOSE through several official communications as well.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, the Srinagar Court also directed the Chairman JKBOSE to release the admit cards of the students of the schools and they may be allowed to sit in the class 10th exams as well.
