Srinagar Feb 16: After a delay of almost a week, JK Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Sunday released the roll number slips of 22 students of a Srinagar private school who are now tagged with a government higher secondary institution for class 10th exams.
The exam will commence from February 17 in all the soft zone areas across Jammu and Kashmir.
The 22 students were enrolled in The Global Islamic School in Padshahibagh area of Srinagar, however due to some issues in registration, the students were tagged with Boys Higher Secondary School Natipora.
The instruction to tag the students of the concerned private school with the nearby Government Boys Higher Secondary School Natipora was issued by the then director education Kashmir Tasaduq Hussain Mir.
The decision was conveyed to chairman and secretary JKBOSE through several official communications as well.
As already reported, the JKBOSE earlier denied class 10th exam registration forms to the 22 students of The Islamic Global School Padshahibagh Srinagar, despite the government instructions.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, the Srinagar Court also directed the Chairman JKBOSE to release the admit cards of the students of the schools and they may be allowed to sit in the class 10th exams as well.
