Baramulla Feb 25: In a significant development, Wamiq Javid, an alumnus of Army Goodwill School (AGS) Uri from 2013 batch has qualified Short Service Commission (SSC) Tech 64.
He attended the rigorous Service Selection Board (SSB) assessment from November 20 to November 24, 2024, at 11 SSB Allahabad.
After demonstrating exceptional skill, perseverance, and leadership qualities, Wamiq successfully cleared all stages of evaluation and secured his selection as a Lieutenant. His selection has brought pride to his alma mater.
His remarkable achievement not only highlights his hard work and dedication but also stands as a testament to the values instilled by AGS Uri.
"Wamiq’s success serves as an inspiration to current students, proving that with determination and commitment, even the loftiest of dreams can be realized," the official handout reads.
