Srinagar, Feb 26: After prolonged dry weather, most parts of Kashmir received overnight rains and snowfall while the independent weather agency predicted a wet spell for the next 24 hours.
The Kashmir Weatherman, an independent weather organisation said that most of the higher reaches of Kashmir have crossed a snow accumulation around 10 inches.
"Intermittent to continuous showers would continue for the next 54-72 hours," it said.
"However, mostly intermittent showers are expected between this afternoon and tomorrow late afternoon," the independent weather agency wrote on its official X handle.
"Plains may witness snow tomorrow evening/night," the post reads.
