This time its ‘Bye Bye Kejriwal: Tarun Chugh

Says AAP may not even secure double digits in the polls

Srinagar Jan 21: National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) Tarun Chugh on Tuesday said that in the upcoming Delhi elections, AAP will not be able to secure seats in double digits as people want to get rid of Arvind Kejriwal government.

Chugh said that Kejrival's recent gestures of devotion to Lord Ram were politically motivated and aimed at salvaging his diminishing support base.

Earlier, Kejriwal reportedly opposed the construction of the Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya, where he reportedly suggested that a hospital would serve a better purpose at the site.

Chugh accused Kejrival of disrespecting the temple and the kar sevaks who contributed to its construction.

Chugh reminded Kejriwal of the incident related to Swati Maliwal, Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women. Chugh said Maliwal reportedly faced physical assault by her estranged husband within the Chief Minister’s residence, allegedly under Kejriwal’s tacit approval.

"Kejriwal’s failure to intervene or take a stand on the issue exposes an anti-women bias in his administration," Chugh said.

He said women were being exploited under Kejriwal’s governance, and he remains silent, like Dhritarashtra.

“Delhi’s women are now coming out in protest, holding liquor bottles to highlight corruption in the excise policy and empty buckets to symbolize water shortages. The people are fed up with Kejriwal’s hollow promises," Chugh said.

He questioned Kejriwal’s achievements over his decade-long tenure and accused his government of focusing on publicity over governance, citing scandals such as the liquor policy controversy and a lack of tangible progress on basic civic issues.

"The people of Delhi have made up their minds. This time, it is Bye Bye Kejriwal. His party may not even secure double digits in the polls," Tarun Chugh said.
