JKTA Chandoosa reconstitutes zonal body

Baramulla, Nov 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA) Chandoosa Wednesday announced the reconstitution of its zonal body as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen organizational functioning and enhance educational advocacy across the region.

The meeting was attended by District Vice President Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat accompanied by senior leadership including Fayaz Ahmad Malik, Shabir Ahmad Lone, Bilal Ahmad Lone, Chowdhary Munaver Hussain, Zonal President Tahir Ahmad Beigh and scores of educators, and representatives from various schools within the zone.

During the meeting, tha association unanimously approved the new zonal committee.

The restructuring aims to improve coordination, address teachers’ concerns more effectively, and ensure better engagement with the academic community.

Speaking on the occasion, the association’s leadership emphasized that the newly formed zonal body will work with renewed commitment toward safeguarding the rights of teachers, improving academic standards, and promoting a student-centric educational environment.

The newly constituted body pledged to uphold transparency, accountability, and teamwork while actively working on issues such as school infrastructure, teacher welfare, and the implementation of educational reforms.

Abdul Rasheed Wani has been appointed as Patron while Tahir Ahmad Beigh has been appointed as President besides Sukhvinder Singh and Abdul Razak Lone and Tariq Ahmad Khan have been appointed as Vice Presidents.

Mohammad Ashraf Lone is new General Secratary while Mohammad Shafi Khanday is new Secratary and Mansoor Ahmad Beigh has been appointed as Joint Secretary.

Shabir Ahmad Mir has been appointed as Finance Secratary, Khursheed Ah Wani (Cashier), Hilal Ahmad Sheikh (Advisor),Dawood Ahmad Khan (Advisor), Mohammdd Rafi Beigh (Advisor), Irfan Ahmad Lone (Spokesperson), Irfan Ahmad Khan (Organiser), Nazir Ahmad Khan (Organiser),  Javid Iqbal Khan (Coordinator), Chowdhary Iqbal (Coordinator)  and  Irshad Ahmad Sheikh has been appointed as Media Advisor.

Female members include, Rubeena Nusrat, Jameela Aslam, Dilraj Kour and Ifat Bano.

The executive council includes Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat,Fayaz Ahmad Malik, Shabir Ahmad Lone, Bilal Ahmad Lone, Munaver Hussain, Tahir Ahmad Beigh, Mohammad Ashraf Lone, Abdul Rasheed Wani, Mushtaq Ahmad Beigh, Abdul Razak lone and Hilal Ahmad Sheikh 

Meanwhile, the executive members include,  Mohammad Ashraf Tantray, Bilal Ahmad Wani, Farooq Ahmad Najar, Abdul Hamid Mir, Sameer Ahmad Bhat, Hilal Ahmad Mir, Mohammad Rafiq Najar, Ghulam Qadir Dar, S M Iqbal and Imtiyaz Ahmad.
