JK Resident Commission celebrates Republic Day

New Delhi, Jan 26: Principal Resident Commissioner Jammu and Kashmir Government Dr. Rashmi Singh on Sunday unfurled the National flag on the eve of 76th Republic Day at Jammu and Kashmir House.
A contingent of J&K Armed Police presented the guard of honour on the occasion.
The ceremonial function was attended by all the officers and officials of Jammu and Kashmir posted at New Delhi.
She congratulated the participants on this auspicious occasion,
and paid rich tributes to the martyrs and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for liberating India from the Britishers.
A colourful cultural programme was presented on the occasion besides the release of the coffee table book and calendar of the Resident Commission.
Later, the Principal Resident Commissioner interacted with the officers and officials of J&K House.
